End Planned Parenthood Funding

Issues: 

Over the past few weeks, Americans have seen a series of videos come out of Planned Parenthood that are nothing short of horrifying. The footage shows senior Planned Parenthood officials laughing, swilling chardonnay and casually, callously, heartlessly discussing killing unborn children in order to sell their body parts. Subway’s Jared Fogle Used Kids’ Health Nonprofit to Access Victims

Issues: 

Court Documents reveal that Subway’s Jared Fogle used his kid’s health foundation to help in the creation of child pornography. Fogle admitted to working with his Fogle Foundation President Russell Taylor who is alleged to have produced pornographic materials involving children. The Hole Gets Deeper as Private-Sector Jobs Gap Widens

I made the following statement based upon the recent release of the Employment Situation Report for July 2015 by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), which reported an increase of 215,000 nonfarm payroll jobs (210,000 in the private sector) and that the unemployment rate was unchanged at 5.3 percent. Blue Bell Back on Shelves August 31st

Issues: 

The countdown to Blue Bell Ice Cream has begun. Blue Bell Creameries announced on Monday, a 5-phase plan to put its ice cream back on store shelves beginning on Monday, August 31. Phase 1 brings Blue Bell home to its roots.

Holding Officials Accountable

Issues: 

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has lied to the American people about classified emails on her server. Last week, the Inspector General for U.S. Intelligence Agencies reported to Congress the discovery of two emails designated “Top Secret, Sensitive Compartmented Information” on her server. Obama Lost Iraq

Issues: 

As we debate the Iranian deal, a secondary point that needs to be made by Republicans running for the president is how Obama lost Iraq. This is a point I have made before and is worth repeating since the two are connected; Obama’s foreign policy team designed a policy that resulted in Iraq essentially being split into ISIS land and an Iranian fiefdom. Congressman Smith Statement on EPA Methane Rule

Tuesday I released the following statement after the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced plans for new regulations restricting methane emissions. The proposed rule would impose costly new restrictions on oil and natural gas, despite industry efforts that have already drastically reduced emissions in recent years.
