Those recognized include citizens, bloggers, activists, authors, radio show hosts, members of ministry, thought leaders, legislators and others who exemplify principles of Republican exceptionalism. They demonstrate clear thinking, leadership, initiative, and values that are vital for the future of Texas and the United States. They are the Voice of the Conservative Vote.

Jerry Patterson is the Texas Land Commissioner. Born in Houston, Texas on November 15, 1946 Jerry Patterson graduated from Texas A&M, Class of 1969 and receiving his commission in the United States Marine Corps, Patterson volunteered for duty in Vietnam in 1972 and was later designated as a Naval Flight Officer and served in Marine fighter squadrons until his retirement from the Marine Corps Reserve as a Lieutenant Colonel in 1993. 
Serving his third term in the United States House of Representatives, Congressman Louie Gohmert was first sworn in January 4, 2005. He proudly represents the First District of Texas which encompasses over 12 counties stretching nearly 120 miles down the state's eastern border.

Attorney General Greg Abbott was reelected as the 50th Attorney General of Texas on November 7, 2006. Prior to his election as attorney general, Greg Abbott served as a Justice on the Texas Supreme Court and as a State District Judge in Harris County. 
Daniel Chavez is a Republican running against Representative Henry Cuellar in District 28.
Brenda Z. Page has filed to be placed on the Republican 2010 ballot for Texas Congressional District 18 to unseat Sheila Jackson Lee. 
Danielle Chavez is currently attending the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communications at Arizona State University under a 4-year scholarship. She is pursuing a joint Bachelors and Master's degree in Journalism and Mass Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations. Danielle was born in Denton, TX and has lived in Brownsville for the majority of her life. 
Senator Jane Nelson is a former public school teacher who represents Senate District 12, encompassing parts of Tarrant and Denton counties. She joined the Senate in 1992 after two terms on the State Board of Education in which she led the fight to correct more than 5,000 factual errors in school textbooks. 
Military Moms of Texas is an organization started by a woman from Round Rock, Texas named Tracy. Tracy's son is a member of the U.S. Army and has been recently deployed. Tracy started a local Texas group for military families, friends, and locals to connect, volunteer, and support our troops and their families from right here in Texas.
