Denouncing President Biden's LNG Export Ban

As a member of the House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Energy, we held a hearing to examine the detrimental effects of President Biden's Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) export pause. This "pause" puts America's national security at risk, and thousands out of work. The United States is the world leader in exporting LNG, which is a crucial resource for our allies in Europe. Once again, this decision is a ploy by President Biden to appease climate activists. 

I introduced the Unlocking Domestic LNG Potential Act, which eliminates the requirement for the U.S. Department of Energy to authorize the export of LNG and instead gives sole authority to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC).  It is imperative we take politics out of a resource so crucial to maintaining consistent prices globally, aiding our allies, and reducing global emissions. Watch my full line of questioning here or click on the image.
