Speaker Johnson Visits the Permian Basin for Energy Week

I proudly hosted House Speaker Mike Johnson (LA-04) in the Permian Basin for a rig tour with Diamondback Energy to kick off Energy Week in Congress. The U.S. House of Representatives voted on pro-energy legislation, including my bill to repeal President Biden's harmful natural gas tax, this week as House Republicans work to restore American energy dominance.

I am extremely proud of the Permian Basin and all that it represents. From the hardworking men and women on our oil rigs to the innovative minds in our research labs, this region embodies the American spirit of ingenuity and resilience. The Speaker's visit underscores the importance of our industry and community.
