Texas Teens Charged with Sex Trafficking 15-Year-Old Girl

Two 19-year-old men have been charged in Dallas, Texas, with forcing a 15-year-old girl into prostitution against her will. The girl eventually escaped their captivity.

Dallas police announced on Monday, the arrest of Mike Osorio and Rafael Roday, both 19, on a variety of charges including sexual assault and forced prostitution, the Houston Chronicle reported.

The two men met the underage girl through Facebook, Dallas police Deputy Chief Rob Sherwin told reporters in a press conference on Monday. They eventually agreed to meet in person.

The young girl was forced to have sex with at least six men per day over a two week period, police said. She eventually escaped and later picked up by police on a runaway charge.

While the girl was being examined by medical personnel, she cried out about the prostitution incident. She and a witness who had also been lured by the men from her Facebook account, described what had happened to them and the police took action.

Police executed a search warrant after hearing the girl’s complaint. Police reports obtained by Breitbart Texas indicate they found evidence supporting the victim’s statement about her sexual assault and human trafficking.

Rodas was arrested by police on January 28 and charged with Trafficking in Persons/Child, a first degree felony; Compelling Prostitution/Child also a first degree felony; and, Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity, a second degree felony F/2. He was placed in the Lew Sterrett Jail on a $35,000 bond for each charge.

Osorio was not arrested until this week, police said. He faces the following charges: Sexual Assault/Child a second degree felony; Trafficking in Persons/Child, a first degree felony; Compelling Prostitution/Child, a first degree felony; and, Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity a second degree felony. He was placed in jail with a $150,000 bond on each charge.

The investigation was carried out by the Dallas Police Department’s High Risk Victims and Trafficking Squad. They were assisted by other Dallas police officers and the U.S. Marshals Service.
