The following information was sent in from the Republican Party of Texas regarding the RPT 2010 Convention:
The Republican Party of Texas 2010 Convention is sneaking up on us, but don't let it catch you unprepared. There is still time to pre-register, reserve your hotel room, buy your banquet and prayer rally tickets, and get everything ready so that this convention will be the best one yet.
Texas' own Rep. Pete Sessions, TX-32 and Chairman of the National Republican Congressional Campaign will be joined by Rep. Michele Bachmann of Minnesota at the Bar-B-Que & Boots Salute banquet on Friday night. You don't have be a delegate or alternate to attend this banquet!
On Saturday, our keynote speaker is a conservative lion: Gov Haley Barbour of Mississippi!
And, you'll get to see our party nominees who are poised to defeat entrenched Democrats - future Congressmen like Francisco "Quico" Canseco, Pastor Stephen Broden and Bill Flores - and are leading the charge to grow our conservative Republican representation in Washington. The 2010 Republican Party of Texas convention is one party that you don't want to miss.
If you're a delegate or alternate to the convention and you haven't yet pre-registered (or if you just want to buy tickets to the banquet), you still can - but time is running out. Pre-registration helps you avoid some of the hassles, and helps you plan out your convention trip. So if you still need to pre-register, head over to the RPT convention web site and do it today. It's right here:
On the convention site, you can find out the latest about convention activities, meeting room assignments, purchase your prayer rally and banquet tickets, even reserve your hotel room and purchase your DART transportation pass. It's all there, so pre-register as soon as you can.
We're looking forward to meeting y'all in Dallas! The 2010 Republican Party of Texas convention is your time to get together, get united, and start the roll to victory in November. The Lone Star State's strength, freedom and prosperity are depending on all of us to work hard to re-elect our great Republicans at all levels.
