Hispanic Republicans of Texas Weekly News
Hispanic Republicans of Texas - November 2016 is still more than a year away, but for many organizations and candidates the campaigning has already started.
In Texas we have five Hispanic Republican members of the Texas House, whom will all be running for re-election. Additionally, HRT has been working to identify candidates for other legislative and local races across Texas!
With the legislative session behind them, State Reps. Larry Gonzales (Round Rock), Jason Villalba (Dallas), Gilbert Pena (Pasadena), Rick Galindo (San Antonio), and JM Lozano (Kingsville) are gearing up for re-election with community events and block walks despite the heat.
In Fort Bend, former Rosenberg mayor Vincent Morales is running for County Commissioner and Daryl Segura is running for Constable. Both have been active in HRT and have helped grow the organization in the Fort Bend area.
Lastly, HRT has launched a new redesigned website and we encourage you to share it with others who might be interested in getting involved with candidates or growing the Republican Party. This next election presents several opportunities for Republicans to compete and win against Democrats; and we look forward to having you join us where possible!
