Governor Perry in Lewisville, TX for a Special Nascar Announcement!

Rick Perry, joined by Winston Cup Champion Bobby Labonte, was at the Huffines Chevrolet in Lewisville, Texas this morning for a one-of-a-kind announcement.

The Rick Perry re-election campaign is sponsoring Bobby Labonte's car for the April 18 NASCAR Sprint Cup race at the Texas Motor Speedway.

Governor Rick Perry with Ray Huffines and Bobby Labonte before the unveiling of the car. Perry praised Bobby Labonte, who is originally from Corpus Christi, saying his powerful driving reminds him of the strong Texas economy.

The Rick Perry re-election campaign will sponsor Bobby Labonte's car for the April 18 NASCAR Sprint Cup race at the Texas Motor Speedway. This event will earn $90 million for the state of Texas. Bobby Labonte currently lives in North Carolina, but says he would love to race the car for the governor.
