The Supreme Court Takes Up HHS Mandate

On top of all of Obamacare’s flaws, website glitches, insurance price mark-ups, and cancelled coverage, it violates one of our most fundamental rights: freedom of religion. So I was happy to hear that this spring the Supreme Court will consider whether Obamacare violates the First Amendment.

House Passes Congressman Smith Bill to Improve EPA's Hydraulic Fracturing Study

Issues: 

The House of Representatives approved the Protecting States’ Rights to Promote American Energy Security Act (H.R. 2728) to limit duplicative federal regulations on hydraulic fracturing where the states already have environmental protections in place. The bill, which protects American jobs and promotes American energy production, passed by a vote of 235-187. Was "Fast and Furious" Actor Paul Walker Assassinated by an Obama Drone?

The tinfoil hat of the year award may just have to go out to David Chase Taylor at Truther.org after he made the case that "Fast and Furious" actor Paul Walker was "assassinated in a drone strike" while riding in a car in Los Angeles last week. The bizarre article makes the claim that a tree with a 6" diameter trunk could not possibly have cut the Porsche Carrera GT in half and exploded it into flames. Obviously Taylor has never challenged a tree with a car. Trees have a very bad attitude and simply will not give way to a car, no matter how expensive it is. Congressman Johnson Introduces Common-Sense Medicare Part A Reform

Congressman Scott Perry (R-PA) and I introduced common-sense Medicare reform legislation, H.R. 3498, so seniors can have the freedom to make their own healthcare decisions and to opt-out of the government-run health program for seniors. 

As folks continue to see their healthcare options diminished by ObamaCare, it’s critical to find ways that allow a return to choice and freedom in health care.

American Teen Kidnapped, Forced To Work As Cartel Hitman

In a story that’s as heartbreaking as it is frightening, a teenage U.S. citizen has reportedly returned to Texas after serving a prison sentence in Mexico for beheading targets for a drug cartel.

The young hitman was reportedly kidnapped at the age of eleven in Mexico, only to later be convicted of beheading victims for a Mexican cartel.
