Administration Requests Causing Space Exploration Delays

Issues:

We recently celebrated the 45th anniversary of putting a man on the moon. I believe space inspires future generations to dream big and work hard. The first foot prints on the moon’s surface were made by Americans.

I recently sent a letter to NASA Administrator Charles F. Bolden, Jr. about reported delays to our nation’s space exploration systems. The news comes despite congressional support for these NASA priorities and repeated Administration assurances that they are on schedule. Travis County successfully removed DeLay from House leadership by getting an indictment against him. His conviction was later reversed by an appellate court. Now, Texas Governor Rick Perry faces the political wrath from this office where the District Attorney continues the practice of attempting to

Minnesota Misclassification Crackdown Gets Results

Issues:

Because of an absence of federal action on the problem of rampant worker misclassification in construction, we continue to track the progress of states across the nation that are trying to deal with what's been called “a cancer” in the industry. Lawmakers in Minnesota have gotten particularly aggressive, pushing a registry for subcontractors that can be easily checked
