Sen. Cruz on Armed Forces Day: Honor and Thank Those Who Serve

Today is Armed Forces Day and I hope we can all take a moment to say "thank you" to our veterans, to our active duty members, and to their families.

Write a note, make a call, or shake the hand of someone you know who has served. And take the time to pause and reflect on the great sacrifices millions of men and women have made throughout our nation’s history.

Our liberty comes at a price. Members of the United States Armed Forces put their lives at risk to keep us safe. Honor them today. Thank them today.

We, as a country, are so grateful for their service. They are the reason that we are free today. May God bless our Armed Forces, may God bless you, and may God continue to bless the United States of America.
