As Chairman of the House Armed Services Subcommittee on Tactical Air and Land Forces, I wrote to President Barack Obama criticizing his Administration’s failure to articulate a consistent missile defense strategy. The letter comes as Secretary of State John Kerry flew to China and offered to remove our recently added defenses in the Pacific to encourage them to counter the increasingly belligerent tone and actions by North Korea.

The Obama Administration's lack of leadership on the threats from North Korea proves a pivotal point that has been recognized by political observers dating back to Thucydides: domestic politics influence foreign affairs. One of the reasons why Obama will not take a hardline stance on North Korea is because our economy is so dependent upon China. This is an inexcusable arrangement that can only be overcome if those in Washington put an end to irresponsible spending and if the Democrats quit pushing for the debt ceiling to be raised.

A Chinese rocket crashed in East Texas near Buna, TX in Jasper County. Far-fetched? Conspiracy theory? Actually, this story is true!

Early in the morning of February 27th, 2013 there were reports of bright fireballs over East Texas and West Louisiana skies.

President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden have made their bailout of General Motors Company (GM) the shining star on their re-election tree. Their claim is they saved the jobs of GM employees.

Vice President Joe Biden likes to cheer "Osama Bin Laden is Dead and GM is Alive!" But what he doesn't tell you is that since the illegal GM bankruptcy, President Barack Obama has been hard at work as the "Job-Exporter-in-Chief" moving thousands of high paying, middle-class, NON-UNION jobs to China. GM, the shining star on top of the Obama Re-Election "Winter Holiday Tree", is leaving town quickly and what's left is circling the drain.  

In talking with former GM employees, I learned Obama has been sending non-union jobs like product design, engineering and drafting jobs to China.

Here is a thought. Suppose I was to say a political party candidate has imitated the Communist Chinese abortion policy by allowing sex selection abortions? Would you say that party candidate is an extremist? What if I was to say that we had a candidate, who when he was a state legislator, opposed a bill that would have stopped the murder of a baby who survived an abortion? Would he be an extremist? Or what about a candidate who viewed late term abortion as acceptable? Would you consider him an extremist?   Read more »
