The award recognizes a state, regional, county or tribal program that consistently and comprehensively exemplifies excellence in child support enforcement. The award was accepted for Attorney General Abbott by Charles Smith, Deputy Attorney General at the WICSEC 2014 Annual Training Conference in San Diego, California. These young scouts met with me to earn their Citizens Badge in order to complete the requirements for their Webelos Badge. As a proud Eagle Scout, I always enjoy meeting with scouts, serving as a mentor throughout their scouting journey, and discussing the importance of service, character, and courage.
