Obama threatening soldiers who speak about Bergdahl

Issues:

Would you be surprised to learn that Obama is using intimidation to get the men who served with Bergdahl to keep quiet? I know, I know…just another fake scandal, right?

Leave no man behind has been the battle cry of Obama’s slap in the face to America, when in fact the truth is much different, as this VIDEO suggests: Read more about Obama threatening soldiers who speak about Bergdahl

Congressman Farenthold on Demanding VA Accountability

The Department of Veterans Affairs recently flagged the Corpus Christi VA clinic, and 7 other VA facilities in Texas, for further investigation. The investigators suspected willful misconduct at these clinics, but have not determined a cause yet. I am gravely concerned that the problems being reported out of VA clinics throughout the country are occurring here at home - where we expect that veterans to receive proper care. Texas GOP Loses Grassroots Leader Daniel Mccool

Issues:

Just last Saturday, Daniel McCool was elected by the delegates of the Senate District 11 to be their representative on the Republican Party of Texas State Republican Executive Committee (SREC). Less than one week later, his family, friends, loved ones and fellow Republicans are gathering in prayer to remember a man who was taken from us much too quickly. Daniel died Friday evening of a sudden heart attack shortly after coming home from his shift working traffic control in his job as a Harris County Deputy Sheriff. Texas Ethics Commission accepts complaint against Texas Right to Life for anti-Deuell radio ads

Issues:

The Texas Ethics Commission has agreed to look into the way Texas Right to Life paid for radio ads that used “defamatory” language against Sen. Bob Deuell, R-Greenville, in his race against challenger Bob Hall. The complaint filed by Deuell’s Political Director Trey Bahm alleges that Right to Life misled voters about the fact that a “dark money” organization paid for the ads that helped put Hall over the top by 300 votes in the runoff election. Legislation Passed Last Week

Issues:

On Tuesday, the House passed the Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act of 2015. This legislation responsibly supports critical housing and transportation programs while spending $7.8 billion below the President’s budget request and making strides to reduce our nation’s deficit. I believe it is essential to make sensible investments in our nation’s highways, bridges, and airports to meet the needs of the American people and sustain a strong economy. Poe Introduces House Resolution Supporting Marine In Mexico

This week, I introduced H.Res620 calling on the Government of Mexico to immediately release Sgt. Tahmooressi and return him to the United States to allow him to receive care for his PTSD and the President of the United States to do all that he can to secure his release.

On March 31, Mexican authorities arrested 25-year-old U.S. Marine Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi at the U.S.-Mexico border. Three firearms, all registered under his name in the United States, were discovered in his car. Two months later, Sgt. Tahmooressi is still in a Mexican jail. It is ironic that this Administration can deal with the Taliban to secure the release of a POW but we will not do the same for a marine imprisoned in Mexico. It is time for the White House to act. Texans Organize Rescue Posse For Children From Border Crisis

HOUSTON, Texas—The bodies of illegal immigrants are routinely found dead near Falfurrias, Texas in Brooks County. Texas citizens and the local sheriff are organizing a ‘rescue posse’ to make sure the thousands of children illegally crossing the Texas border with Mexico are not dying in the area.

Though Falfurrias sits approximately 85 miles from the border, there is a notorious Border Patrol checkpoint

Save the World and Make Money Doing It!

The next time you hear how the Koch Brothers are buying the election or that climate realists like yours truly are nothing more than tools of big oil, let's be a little honest about who are the biggest profiteers.

Tom Steyer is a billionaire who is committed to saving the world from man-made climate change, and he has made it clear that he will spend 100 million dollars to elect Democrats. Of course this billionaire has earned much of his hedge fund fortune by, get this, financing coal mines and coal-fired power plants throughout Asia and Australia.

Issues:

As proud members representing two teams competing in the College World Series, Rep. Roger Williams and I announced the establishment of the 2014 Congressional Baseball Challenge.

We want to bring attention to the fact that our schools, Texas Tech University and Texas Christian University, are among the eight elite teams playing in the CWS in Omaha. Every day, I am proud to be a Red Raider
