NYPD Walter WeaverOn the morning of September 11, 2001, NYPD Police Officer Walter Weaver was scheduled to be off work. Instead, he filled in for another police officer. After the 9/11 terrorists crashed their planes into the World Trade Center Towers, Officer Weaver rushed into the burning North Tower. Reports indicate that he was attempting to free trapped victims from the North Tower when it collapsed. He was killed doing what heroes do - putting his life at risk that others may live. Midland Businessman and Republican Activist Nelson Spear Announces Candidacy for Chairman of Midland County Party

Today, Midland businessman Nelson Spear announces his candidacy for Chairman of the Midland County Republican Party. The Republican primary will be held across Texas on March 4, 2014.

In introducing himself, Spear stated, “I’m a businessman, former prosecutor, entrepreneur, church goer, father, husband, writer, and Republican activist here in Midland, Texas.” Spear continued, “As I have traveled our county and region in recent months, I have talked to many concerned Republicans. NDO Passes - San Antonio "Transformed"

Thursday, September 5, 2013 San Antonio City Council passed the non discrimination ordinance that violates our First Amendment Rights, our Right of Conscience. In spite of the fact that the majority of concerned citizens opposed the NDO, it passed with an 8-3 vote. Only three members of the City Council voted against the unjust ordinance, Ivy Taylor D2, Elisa Chan D9 and Carlton Soules D10. These three council members were brave enough to stand for their principles and the First Amendment, the Right of Conscience and will surely pay the price. What To Do Now on Syria

Issues: 

Syria is where Obama's foreign policy follies are laid bare and found in disarray. That can no longer be debatable, but what is debatable is what to do about this disaster. Republican Congressman Tom Cotton. and hopefully the next Senator from Arkansas, along with Kansas Representative Mike Pompeo, made a case for striking at Syria.
