The San Antonio Express News failed to mention that on Wednesday, August 23, there were at least 800 Blue shirts for the 2 pm City Council session and over 1000 for the 6 pm meeting. Citizens waited in scorching 98 degrees to be able to give testimony on the proposed non discrimination ordinance. This was the first time that the council convened for the purpose of addressing the NDO which violates our First Amendment Right to Religious Freedom. The NDO is set for a vote on September 5. Our brave military is sworn to protect and defend the Constitution from all enemies, foreign and domestic. The race to replace Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott, who is now running to be Governor of Texas, is certainly becoming one of the most interesting races for Republican voters in the 2014 Primary. It is imperative that we select an Attorney General for Texas who is well-equipped to take on an increasingly over-reaching federal government and protect the liberty and economy of Texas and Texans.
