Earlier this year, I had the opportunity to visit a Syrian refugee camp while I was overseas in Turkey. This helped me to better understand the civil war raging in Syria. Once again, President Barack Obama ignores the Constitution and skirts the legislative process of legally creating laws by issuing two new executive orders. The idiocy of this is neither of the new executive orders relating to firearms will accomplish anything. But they make him look tough. Kind of like lobbing a couple of cruise missiles at Syria without any legal authority. I wonder if the President will trot out more children to use as props for allegedly making them safer, all the while doing nothing to actually address criminals who illegally use or posses guns. Throughout the history of Christianity, churches have been involved in helping people who are down on their luck or in a bad situation. Often this help is provided in the form of food and shelter. Apparently local governments are somehow threatened by this philanthropy because it means people are not dependent on the government. Despite the fact that philanthropy and charity are much more efficient and cost effective methods of delivery of services to the needy, local governments are taking action to stop this.

Shackelford says that Adryana Boyne is a proven conservative leader who has helped lead the fight to protect liberty, defend the sanctity of human life, and preserve our personal freedoms for many years. He says that Adryana will make a great State Representative and that is why he has personally endorsed her campaign and is participating in Friday’s special event, which will be held at the Richardson Civic Center located at 411 West Arapaho in Richardson.
