The Unending Bias Of SA Express News Of Pro Life Rally

Issues:

It just never ceases to amaze me of the bias the MSM exhibits in reporting the news, and in this particular case, the Express News report of the Right to Life Foundation Pro Life Rally held Sunday, January 26 at the Milan Plaza in downtown San Antonio. The Response Republicans Should Have Delivered

Senator Ted Cruz delivers the kind of response off the cuff that should have been delivered from the Republican party last night in response to Obama’s State of the Union Address.

THANK YOU SENATOR CRUZ!

Congressman Neugebauer Responds to the State of the Union

Tonight, we heard more of the same from the President. Although he talked about a commitment to job creation, he’s not encouraging Senate action on critical jobs bills passed by the House of Representatives. And while he paid lip service to an all-of-the-above energy approach, he has refused to act on the Keystone XL pipeline, which would bring valuable energy and jobs to Texas.

Meanwhile, his Administration is pushing forward on costly regulations that haven’t been justified by scientific reviews. He defended Obamacare, but didn’t provide any hope to all the families that have lost coverage or are struggling with higher costs because of this flawed plan. Child Sex Trafficking: This Has Got to Change

Issues:

The tragedy of human sex trafficking cannot be fully realized until one sees the pain of hopelessness in the victims' eyes.

On a recent trip to Honduras, I visited two shelters for sex trafficking victims: La Alianza and El Refugio Shelters. Some of these victims were as young as 12 years of age. They had been raped, drugged, abused, and exploited. These shelters are helping them to regain their lives, their dignity and, yes, their hope. President Obama’s Credibility Gap

In tonight’s State of the Union Address, President Obama will no doubt make an eloquent case for his second-term agenda. There’s just one problem: The President’s credibility has been shattered.

Indeed, on issue after issue, we see a massive gap between rhetoric and reality.

The most obvious example is health care. President Obama repeatedly said that, under his signature health law, people who liked their existing insurance could keep it. Instead, Obamacare has forced millions

The Righteous Mind: Search for Truth!

Governor Cuomo very ineptly declared conservatives or those conservatives who are actually serious about gun rights and the rights of the unborn as extreme and not welcome in New York. He stated that he was noting that defending gun rights and the right of the unborn couldn’t win statewide races in New York, and the way he phrased it left no doubt that he really didn't want to deal with debating things like whether babies in a mother’s womb have rights or that the Second Amendment actually means what it says. Farm Bill Finalized: We’re Saving Taxpayer Dollars Through Free-Market Reforms

We’re nearing the finish line on the Farm Bill, which is good news for consumers and producers. The Conference Committee report was just finalized. We’re hoping to bring it to the House floor for a vote on Wednesday. This has been a long process that began two years ago with detailed examinations of every single farm program. We’ve held dozens of hearings and we’ve gone through a few different versions of this bill.

Sen. Cruz Calls on President Obama to Answer Questions about Benghazi in State of the Union Address

Issues:

I am calling on President Obama to hold himself and his administration accountable for the preventable attacks on the U.S. foreign post in Benghazi on September 11, 2012 where four Americans – Tyrone Woods, Glen Doherty, Sean Smith and Ambassador Christopher Stevens – were murdered by terrorists. Ambassador Stevens was the first U.S. ambassador murdered on duty since 1979. Read more about Sen. Cruz Calls on President Obama to Answer Questions about Benghazi in State of the Union Address

Looking Towards (the President's Take) on the State of Our Union

This week, President Obama will attempt to salvage what's left of his presidency and downplay the damage his Administration's failed policies have done to hardworking taxpayers and all Americans. In the midst of a second term riddled in scandals, dismal jobs reports and loss of faith in government, this week should be interesting. We'll see if the Obama Administration is offering more than the same old empty promises and blame-shifting this year. Read more about Looking Towards (the President's Take) on the State of Our Union
