I have found, as I wander through this world of political commentary, that our political message is often lost when the reader or listener perceives harsh or disrespectful language in an article or debate. Recently I saw an article on BigJolly.com by Ed Hubbard where he discussed the harsh rhetoric of conservatives in last year's Houston mayor's race and the long lasting impact it might have on future elections. On this date in 1836, delegates representing settlements across Texas declared their independence from Mexico and their determination to live in liberty, free from tyranny.

When I think of Leadership, the first example of a good leader that comes to my mind is Moses. Moses took Leadership when the Jewish People were in slavery in Egypt. Under Moses Leadership, the Jews went from a very bad position to a much better position. They went from Slavery to Freedom and they were on their way to the Promise Land.
Now let’s compare Moses with the whole managery of Black Leaders in America, for the last 60 or more years.
