Governor Perry appoints Beverly Nuckols to Texas Institute for Health Care Quality and Efficiency

I can’t say the whole name of the Institute (Texas Institute for Health Care Quality and Efficiency) in one breath, so I alternate between calling it “the Institute,” or “tick” for “TIHCQE.”

TIHCQE will make recommendations to the Texas Legislature on how to measure quality and efficiency and help bring innovation to cut costs while still taking care of our Medicaid patients, those who have State health plans, and future “health care collaboratives” or HCC’s. The latter could be the Accountable Care Organizations

Thoughts on Marco Rubio For Vice President

2012 is one of those crucial elections, and every vote counts. So the question remains, who should be the Vice President nominee for the Republican Presidential candidate? If you would have asked me about Marco Rubio three months ago, I would have said his time has yet to come. Today, I will say that whoever wins the Republican nomination will need an individual who hails from a crucial state, has charisma to excite the base and represent the future of the Republican Party. That is Marco Rubio. Read more about Thoughts on Marco Rubio For Vice President

Super Tuesday – Has Romney Secured the Republican Nomination?

In the aftermath of Super Tuesday’s Republican primaries, it is clear that Mitt Romney is still the presumptive nominee of the Republican Party. Romney was able to secure six wins out of the ten state contests, but in only three of those wins was he able to top the 50% mark. Romney was also able to secure a majority of the delegates from the Super Tuesday contests but not an overwhelming number of these delegates. Shame, The Shameless And The Rise Of Arrogance

Genesis 2:25 v Genesis 3:7
Taken from on line dictionary
SHAME: a negative emotion that combines feelings of dishonor, unworthiness, and embarrassment
SHAMELESS: untroubled or unaffected by shame, especially in situations where others would be ashamed
ARROGANCE: behavior that shows that you think you are better or more important than other people
GUILT: an awareness of having done wrong or committed a crime, accompanied by feelings of shame and regret

Much has been said about shame and the shameless. We should have known that the shameless elite would give rise to the ARROGANT.

Texas Patriot PAC President Julie Turner Commemorates Andrew Breitbart

Texas Patriot PAC President Julie Turner Commemorates Andrew Breitbart:

Every now and then, we get lucky enough to see a shooting star and we watch in wonder as it makes its way across the sky.

Andrew Breitbart was gloriously, joyously effective in the ways he exposed the left for what they are, leaving many of them either speechless or sputtering in profane frustration. Read more about Texas Patriot PAC President Julie Turner Commemorates Andrew Breitbart

Blackburn Bill Would Strip TSA Badges and Uniforms

Congressman Marsha Blackburn (TN-7) has introduced legislation to rein in the Transportation Security Administration and provide more transparency for American travelers. H.R. 3608, the Stop TSA's Reach In Policy (STRIP) Act, would prohibit any TSA employee not trained as a federal law enforcement officer or eligible for federal law enforcement benefits from wearing law enforcement uniforms or wearing a police-like metal badge.

‘Super Tuesday’ with a Lowercase ‘s’

Today is “Super Tuesday,” and Texans SHOULD be voting. However, due to the redistricting challenges, Texas voters will be voting almost three months later on May 29 and will likely have little to say about our presidential nominee. Texas holds the second highest cache of delegates to the Republican National Convention with 155 (behind California’s 172).
