Each spring, the Congressional Institute sponsors a nationwide high school visual art competition to recognize and encourage artistic talent in the nation and in each congressional district.

In slavery times, on some plantations, the black slaves outnumbered the white slave owners ten to one. The slave owners wanted to have some protection against uprising or rebellions, so they made one of the slaves a preacher and gave him the message to preach on Sundays. The number one message was, obey your master. The second message was the story of Lazarus, the poor man that begged at the rich man’s gate.

We must never give up; our founding fathers did not die to make America the heart of freedom just for us to be discouraged because Romney or Gingrich are not our choice candidate. If we give up, what future will we leave our children and grandchildren, a future under socialism and communism? Imagine our future generations living in poverty and without the knowledge of Almighty God.
