TRUMP Rally in Robstown, Texas – SAVE AMERICA

On October 22, 2022 the small town of approximately 10,000 people, Robstown, Texas hosted a Trump Rally at Richard M. Borchard Regional Fairgrounds.  It was interesting because the crowd in attendance probably equaled the size of the town or more.  We were fortunate to receive “special tickets” so we were in an area where there were chairs and not the hard stadium benches.  Also the area we were in had the elected officials, candidates and celebrities.  I saw Mike Lindell, David Harris and Terrance Williams.  There may have been others but I just could not keep up with the hundreds in the special sitting areas.

This was my first in person Trump Rally and the second time I was at an event with Former President Donald J. Trump. He hasn’t changed much, still the high energy person and accomplished extemporaneous speaker of many topics.  He arrived at 7pm as scheduled and immediately began to weave his magic. He started out by saying Texas will NOT be turning Blue and wants us to win BIG in Texas.  He wants Governor Greg Abbott to beat Beto.  He called Beto O’Rourke a “flake.”  He wishes that Ken Paxton would have been his attorney general.  “The radical left wants to take away our oil, God and our guns!”  He told his supporters.

Trump spoke for approximately one hour and 50 minutes. Plenty of time to not only inspire the crowd to vote RED but to rehash his troubled past and current difficulties with the present administration.

Even though the speakers and his passionate enthusiasts want him to run, Trump did not make any commitment to be a candidate for the presidency in 2024.  Maybe just a hint when he said, "I will probably have to do it again."

Prior to Mr. Trump’s arrival, several state and congressional officials and candidates addressed the crowd. The distinguished Speakers included:  Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick  emphatically stated that Texas will NOT be California.  Vote Republican down ballot he said.  He enthusiastically predicted that we are having a “tsunami coming.  We love God, We love our family, we love our guns and we love the fossil fuel industry which is the heartbeat of America and Texas.”

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton was introduced to deafeningly applause as “the most conservative attorney general in the nation.”  Paxton has sued the Biden Administration over 28 times to follow the Rule of Law.  He defeated the unconstitutional vaccine mandate. He is a strong defender of life and the 2nd Amendment. Taking the stage he happily declared, “Isn’t it great to be in Texas?” and “Isn’t it great to have a president coming to Texas who loves Texas and loves America?”

General Paxton spoke about the cost of gas, inflation and the economy.  He also mentioned Afghanistan, Russia and the war in the Ukraine.   He told the thousands in attendance that, “This president (biden) has completely ignored the US Constitution and makes up his own rules.   He is ignoring Congress and ignoring you.  And we are going to stop him in Texas.”  He declared that the biden administration is in partnership with the cartels and has invited the cartels to come to our border.   Paxton also spoke about the thousands and thousands of children and adults who have died because of the drugs coming over.  He asked the people to join him in fighting for a safe, secure, and free Texas and America.

Tom Homan, Former Acting Director of U. S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, spoke highly of President Trump. He said, “My biggest honor was working with the greatest president, President Trump."  He declared that under President Trump, “we had the most secure border in our lifetime.”  He also had a few choice words to say about our current president.  “Joe Biden is the first president in history of this nation who’s been in office and has unsecured the border on purpose.”   Homan said that if Trump becomes our 47th president, he will return to office with him.

Other speakers included Congressmen Ronnie Jackson from Congressional District 13. He was the physician for Trump when he was in office as our president.  He was direct and said that we don’t have a leader in the White House.  He promptly professed, “I’m one of the few people who has the background and can speak intelligently about this, I know what it takes physically and mentally to be a president of the United States and I’m here to tell you today that I’m making a medical determination Joseph Biden does not have what it takes to be our president.”  He continued by listing Biden’s frailties.

Also Michael Cloud from Congressional District 27 gave a moving spiritual address. He spoke of freedom and courage.  “My hope is first of all in God.  God works through people and so today when I look out I see thousands of people willing to have the courage to say we will not give up early though you threaten us, we will not cower to your cultural reengineering though you belittle us, we will not let your false piety, your empty virtual signaling, your carefully practiced smoke screens of deceit, your redefining of good as evil and evil as good,  we will not let you guilt us  into selling away the birthright of the heritage we have as Americans.”

Candidate Wesley Hunt wowed the audience with a very impressive background. He was born and reared in Texas. He is a graduate of West Point and served our country in the US Army as a Captain. He is running for Congressional District 38.  And Adam Hinojosa running for Texas Senate District 27 received a shout out endorsement by Trump and is already endorsed by Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick. Monica de la Cruz and Mayra Flores sent a video welcoming Mr. Trump to Texas and said they were busy campaigning.  A political ad was played of Cassy Garcia. President Trump shouted out, “Every Hispanic American in Texas … we welcome you to our party and our movement with open, beautiful and strong arms.”

This was one experience I won’t soon forget. Enjoying it with friends made it special. The people were happy, enthusiastic and friendly.  There is no doubt in my mind that IF Trump decides to run in 2024, he will be the stronger contender in Texas.

TEXAS must lead the way to a brighter, better future for all Americans.  Please Vote Early until November 4 and definitely on November 8 in person. Together we can crush the Left from ever thinking of turning our great state of Texas Blue.
