Immigration and border security go hand in hand. The border must be secure, and the Republican Party has to put forward a plan to deal with the millions of illegal immigrants in this country. President Obama’s executive action does not solve the problem but neither would any attempt at a mass deportation. The United States needs to identify the people who are here and ensure they are properly taxed. That way, no one gets a free ride on the taxpayer’s dime.

After abandoning Dreamers multiple times, House Democrats continue to politicize immigration reform rather than work on bipartisan solutions to address the border crisis. 
Any sort of lasting change cannot be solved by a funding bill or by tariffs. It has to be solved by something only Congress can do, by passing legislation that addresses the root of the problem.
Congress can easily solve America’s workforce shortage with sensible immigration policies that will grow our taxable legal workforce.
