What Happened to Honesty?

It is unfortunate that as election day draws near, Jessica Puente Bradshaw's campaign and supporters have resorted to misusing my words and intentionally misleading voters! This story has appeared in several places and uses my view of the TX-34 race to make her look good. They do this very carefully and intentionally skip over the most important parts of the post. I cannot believe that this candidate is trying to cover up one lie with another! Read more about What Happened to Honesty?

Poe: Congress Must Preserve American Privacy

Issues:

HR 6199, the Preserving American Privacy Act was introduced earlier this week. The bill seeks to ensure the privacy of American citizens by establishing specific guidelines about when and for what purposes law enforcement agencies and private individuals can use drones. The bill was introduced with 23 original co-sponsors.

The FAA will allow expanded use of drones nationwide by 2015. By 2010, an estimated 30,000 drones will be flying in American skies. Currently, no laws are in place to ensure that drones are not used in ways that infringe on the 4th Amendment rights of private individuals. Cornyn Opposes the United Nations Arms Treaty

I joined 50 Senators in expressing grave concern about the dangers posed to Texans’ Second Amendment rights by the United Nations’ Arms Trade Treaty. The 51 senators notified President Obama and Secretary of State Clinton of their intent to oppose ratification of an Arms Trade Treaty that in any way restricts the rights of law-abiding American gun owners. Issues:

The House today passed the Red Tape Reduction and Small Business Job Creation Act (H.R. 4078) by a vote of 245-172. The bill provides immediate relief to small businesses by freezing the most costly unnecessary regulations by the Obama administration.

President Obama has turned America into a regulation nation. A Heritage Foundation study found that in his first three years in office President Obama adopted 106 major rules that impose $46 billion in additional annual regulatory costs on the private sector. Jessica Puente Bradshaw Robinson Continues the Lies Against Adela Garza

This week, CD-34 Run-off CandidateAdela Garza's campaign was hit from her opponent, Jessica Puente Bradshaw Robinson (JPBR) (or whatever her name is) with an email blast packed with lies about Garza's positions on the Second Amendment. Apparently, JPBR is trying to make political capital out of the massacre in Aurora, Colorado and scare people into believing Garza is somehow anti-gun. Virginia State Senator Claims Romney Success is Due to Racism

In response to a recent Quinnipiac poll showing Virginia voters split 44% to 44% between presidential candidates Barack Obama and Mitt Romney, Democratic State Senator L. Louise Lucas is claiming that Gov. Romney is appealing to racists who do not want to see anyone other than a white man in the oval office. She realized people would cringe when hearing this, but said that it's because they don't want to hear the truth. Read more about Virginia State Senator Claims Romney Success is Due to Racism
